Never really done much work with color, like at all, so I am starting to practice now that I won’t have to spend a billion dollars on various kinds of paints/charcoals/whatever-the-fuck-else that will end up cluttering my desk and floor. I figured a good start would be my old friend Superman, in his primary color glory.
I’ve sort of fallen out of love with the superhero genre as I’ve gotten older, but big blue is in a league of his own, and even with my disinterest in serial Comics in general I will always have a special place in my heart for the character and a great many of the stories on printed page and animation cells both that have made him great over the generations.
